Every Sunday, CANOPAS Peace Demonstration

Every Sunday CANOPAS conducts an antiwar demonstration, a schedule that has been uninterrupted for more than three and a half years. The demonstrations are at 12 noon outside of the Chelsea Post Office on Main Street, at the corner of South Street, in Chelsea, Michigan.

July 24, Veterans for Peace Film Showing at Chelsea Library

Veterans For Peace will be holding its monthly meetings the fourth Thursday of each month in the McKune room at the Chelsea Library. After the meeting, and as part of the group's education mission, they will show a film that is open to the public. VFP meeting 5:30-6PM. Movie 7:00. Discussion follows.

August 3, CANOPAS Pot Luck

CANOPAS will have a pot-luck lunch Sunday, August 3, immediately after the regular Sunday demonstration. Lynn Meadows is offering her house and is inviting people also to go swimming and boating.
