September 24, Michigan Friends Center Fund Raiser—Shari Kane & Big Dave Steele with Davy Rothbart

Michigan Friends Center invites you to experience a riveting mix of blues and storytelling in a benefit evening that brings together hometown favorites, Shari Kane & Big Dave Steele, and Davy Rothbart.

Shari (of Madcat and Kane) and husband Big Dave Steele (Big Dave and the Ultrasonics) will get you moving with acoustic blues. Davy Rothbart, (Found Magazine, This American Life, author/filmmaker/storyteller) with his zany blend of spoken concert material is a unique combination of funny, touching and just bizarre.

Join supporters of the Center in celebrating its 20th year of fostering peace, social justice, spiritual growth and protecting the environment, with these talented local artists! Expect a high-octane evening of music and storytelling.
